It’s been awhile since I’ve wrote anything and for those who think this is easy then go fly a kite next to a power station during a monsoon.
So many things have happened in the past few months; friends departing, meeting of old friends, new song compositions that have the quality to be heard on your car radio. I won RM500 from Sports Toto; I had a sudden mini fortune windfall which should be finished by next month.
But I guess it’s high time I get back to blogging again. I’m in Penang for a meeting workshop. I have to say, honestly, the only kind of activists I hate more besides environmentalists is women activists. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe in men equality and I am in full support of it (because we all know who really rules who). But these people’s perception of gender equality is men being pregnant while still retaining a penis. Men bashing at its finest.
Penang. After spending 3 years here, it truly is a second home to me. The last time I was here was in somewhere in 2006. Nothing much has changed besides the odd new building or the occasional new cafe. It was pretty weird hearing my-ex talk about her new beau. I don’t have a problem; in fact I’m happy for her. But having to endure her talk about how much he earns made me sick. I had to. She picked me up from the airport. I just felt like screaming, “I don’t give a fuck about how many bananas Tarzan brings home.”
But she still remains as the only ex that I still call up without feeling too disgusted about it which is the general feeling I get when I even think about calling the others up. It is a bit sad that I have only another 2 nights before I have to leave but I guess it’s for the best. I do have work to get back to. I do have things to do. I do have unfinished business to attend. It’s funny. The only thing on my mind when typed those 3 sentences were: futsal.
Which reminds me; I have a choice. I just bought the NEW Germany Euro 2008 jersey. Should I know buy a) a Man Utd jersey worth RM250 or b) new futsal shoes? Decisions, decisions.
