Reporting From The Philippines

So far so good. It’s exactly what I thought it would be. First night was brutal. I couldn’t sleep at all because it was freaking hot. I miss my bed, I miss my room and now I miss my car!

Public transport isn’t that bad. I actually enjoy commuting. It so much fun plus I get to mingle with the locals. It depends on your definition of mingle. I basically sit with them. Haha. No small talk. But I do try to strike up conversations with people. Stuff like ‘how do I’ or ‘how much is this’ are some of the common ways of me attempting.

Football was ok. It didn’t help that I was on Neozep or Panadol as we call it back home. I was so drained during the match. But I’m hoping to make things right during futsal tomorrow. It was disappointing to watch United lose to Chelsea in the FA Cup final but by then I had Ponstan. Apparently it doesn’t mix very well with a shot of Whiskey and a few bottles of beer. So I was stoned and really emotionless by my standards.

Besides that, everything is good. Last night was something I’ve been waiting for quite a bit and I blame the journey of my life for not giving me the chance of a prolonged dose of happiness.

Did I mention that it’s hot? But I find it hot in the mornings and early afternoon. By 3 or 4, I find it bearable and at times quite blissful. It’s Jv’s house that’s really hot. Speaking of which. We were on the Kuching-KK flight and we were basically talking. When suddenly I catch this aroma of KFC in the air. The lady in front of us pulls out a magazine and starts to fan herself while looking around. I look at Jv and I make a face and he starts to laugh. I suddenly understand and we both erupted in laughter. The damn bugger decided to release gas in a pressurize environment, 2000km in the air. Sorry Jv, I promised animosity but I just couldn’t. You’re such a blowjob, man!

That’s about it. I’m a bit worried with financials but it should be all right.
