Goodness me.
Traveling is coming fast and furious once again. Barely having enough time to catch my breath, I’m going off again. But this time shouldn’t be so bad because I’m not going that far. 9 hours south by bus ride or 1 hour flight from Kuching, I’m headed for Pontianak, Indonesia.
Of course this is still tentative. I’m hoping that the organization there will be able to book me a ticket. I decided earlier against going because I felt too tired from my earlier excursions but the thought of having the opportunity to take photos just over rode that exhaustion. I’m supposed to leave on Monday and be back a few days after.
What’s going on? This network organization called AMAN that is based in Indonesia is holding its annual congress meeting which attracts at least 200 participants from all over the archipelago. Who am I to refuse such an invitation?
It’s a far cry from the numbers of people during my past seminars and conferences with the most totaling 90 in Cambodia for the Land Conference. It should prove interesting and exciting to watch and participate. Let’s just hope that they’ve received my email and are able to get me a flight.
