Oh my gawd… Oh my gawd….. As I am typing this, I am reading my email for the 3rd time.. Surely this is a dream.
Who would have thought that 2 days after submitting my resignation (which has been ignored), I have received an email saying that I AM GOING TO NEW YORK TO ATTEND THE UNITED NATIONS PERMANENT FORUM ON INDIGENOUS POPULATIONS!!! I have dreamed of attending this meeting since I started work in 2006.
I thank the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact for giving me the grant.
Speechless. Absolutely speechless. Just hope I’ll be able to get my visa. New York, here I come!!!!
