Gone are the days of RM2 kolo mee and RM1.20 teh O peng.
It’s probably even worse in Sabah where the cheapest meal cost me RM6.50 (rice) and 4.50 (noodle). The drinks are ludicrous; expensive and heavily watered down. But as mush as I love my next door state neighbours, my immediate concern is Kuching.
