Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Sometimes I wonder what holds in store for me at the end of the rainbow.

Will there be treasures and prizes for all that I’ve done, for all that I’ve seen? But have I deserved anything yet? Comparatively speaking, I’ve not lived that very long and neither have I gone through that much nor done anything really great that warrants a reward. Unsure but not counting, I believe there’s still a long way to go before I discover the answer to my question.

Everyone has something waiting for them at the end the rainbow and it’ll be different every time for everyone. When everything seems so hard and unforgiving, it will all seem so trivial once we get there, to the Valhalla of all happiness.

This I believe is true so I don’t mind the hardships. I don’t mind the senseless situations that I always seem to be in. I don’t mind the times when I’d rather be dead than be alive. But its days like this that makes the notion that there is something waiting for me all so sweeter.

Will I be consumed by my foolhardy ideology? I don’t think so. Well, I hope not. It seems the longer people remain on earth; they lose belief in beautiful things such as Chivalry, romanticism, nobility (not of blood but of character).

Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue. And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.
